Woolf’s description on how she did her “best to kill the Angel in the House,” in paragraph 3 creates a violent tone and image of Wolf and the stereotypes that are thrown at her. However, the description of being violent towards the angel is not appropriate because of instead of killing the expectations, Wolf adds on to the stereotype that women are violent because of hormones.
